Once upon a time in the floating city of Gear-ville, there lived a young inventor named Leo.
Leo wasn't an ordinary inventor; he made pets out of spare parts! His absolute favorite creation was Barnaby, a tiny, copper-plated corgi with gears for joints and a bright little lightbulb for a nose.
One windy afternoon, the city's main levitation engine started to sputter. The whole town was slowly sinking toward the ground! Everyone panicked, but Barnaby's glowing nose led the way through the dark, clanking steam-tunnels beneath the city, sniffing out the broken mainspring.
With a happy bark that sounded just like a bicycle bell, Barnaby squeezed into the machinery and nudged the missing gear back into place. Gear-ville soared back up into the fluffy white clouds, and the little clockwork corgi became the biggest hero in town!
