The Brave Little Tailor
Jacob Grimm, Wilhelm Grimm
A cheerful, humble tailor sits in his workshop, happily eating a piece of bread and jam. When a swarm of annoying flies lands on his sweet meal, he strikes out with a cloth, killing seven of them in a single, mighty blow. Immensely proud of this minor achievement, he stitches a bold belt that reads, Seven at one blow. He leaves his workshop to show the entire world his incredible bravery, even though the world assumes he defeated seven enormous men, not tiny insects. Armed with nothing but his sharp wits, an old piece of cheese, and a captured bird, the little tailor sets off on a massive adventure. He quickly crosses paths with a towering, aggressive giant who challenges his strength. Using clever tricks and pure confidence, the tailor outsmarts the giant, fools a greedy king, captures a rampaging unicorn, and faces down a terrifying wild boar. He must rely entirely on his brain to survive these deadly challenges and claim a royal reward.
