Maximilian Midas is a very peculiar little boy. Unlike most kids his age, he does not care about eating chocolate, and he definitely does not want to play with ordinary toys. In fact, his very first word was not Mama or Papa. The first word little Maxie ever shouted was Gold! Max decides that instead of trying to make friends, he wants to make millions of dollars. He spends all of his energy acquiring what he loves best. He buys shiny gold statues, builds sparkling gold fountains, and eventually sits inside his very own golden castle. But having everything you want can sometimes feel empty. One day, things get incredibly lonely inside that massive, shiny castle. Max is about to learn a very important lesson: all the gold in the world is not worth anything at all without good friends and family by your side.
