Teacher version
Hello families,
Our class is using KRKB, Kids Review Kids' Books, for reading activities. Students may use KRKB to find books, write reviews, answer quizzes, create stories, and respond to class reading prompts.
Your reader will receive a class access path from me. Please keep the QR code or login details private, the same way you would keep a school login private. KRKB reminds readers not to share personal information in public work, and teachers have review tools for student submissions.
When Parent Portal access is linked, families can view reader activity, account controls, library preferences, and short activity updates. If you have trouble finding your reader in Parent Portal, contact me and I can resend instructions.
School library version
Hello families,
Our school library is using KRKB for a reading program. Students may explore curated shelves, join a review crew, write book recommendations, participate in reading challenges, or take part in Battle of the Books style activities.
Students will receive the access path that matches their library group or program. KRKB is designed around safe usernames, privacy reminders, moderation support, and teacher/librarian review tools. Please keep QR codes and login details private.
If your reader is connected to Parent Portal, you can follow recent activity and account settings. If something does not work, contact the library and we will help you find the right access path.
Public library version
Hello families,
Our library is using KRKB for a reading program. Participants can discover books, join a reading challenge, write reviews, explore curated shelves, and share recommendations with other young readers.
Use the program QR code or link from the library to join. KRKB encourages readers to use nicknames, avoid sharing personal information, and keep their comments kind and book-focused. If the program includes a prize or branch pickup note, the library will share those details separately.
Families can keep this handout or poster link so readers can return to the program at home.
