Welcome to Cornucopia, a tiny kingdom famous for its mouthwatering pastries, delicate cheeses, and incredibly happy citizens. It is a place where nothing could possibly go wrong except for the terrifying legend of the Ickabog. Whispered about in the dark, the Ickabog is said to be a fearsome monster living in the misty Marshlands to the north, breathing fire and carrying off wayward sheep and children. Most people believe it is just a silly myth meant to scare kids into behaving. But when the myth suddenly takes on a life of its own, a dark shadow falls over the once-joyful kingdom. Now, it is up to two brave best friends, Bert and Daisy, to embark on a great adventure to untangle the truth. Together, they must discover where the real monster lies and find a way to bring hope and happiness back to Cornucopia.
