Twig has dreamed of the sky since his days in the Deepwoods. Now he is aboard the Stormchaser, a sky pirate ship commanded by his father, and the world above the forest is every bit as dangerous as he imagined. The floating city of Sanctaphrax depends on stormphrax, a rare and powerful substance formed only at the heart of a Great Storm. To collect it, the Stormchaser must fly into a force that could destroy ship and crew alike. Twig’s longing for adventure becomes a test of courage, loyalty, and survival. Stormchaser is a thrilling Edge Chronicles fantasy filled with sky ships, perilous weather, political danger, and strange wonders. It suits confident middle grade and teen readers who enjoy bold quests in complex invented worlds.
