Anne Brontë

Anne Brontë was an English novelist and poet and the youngest of the Brontë sisters. Writing under the pen name Acton Bell, she authored Agnes Grey and The Tenant of Wildfell Hall, the latter now regarded as an important early feminist novel. Her work is known for its moral seriousness, social realism, and clear-eyed treatment of women’s lives in Victorian England.
