Rosie loves visiting the stray cats that live on the old farm near her grandmother's house. Her absolute favorite is a tiny, timid kitten she names Ginger because of his beautiful orange fur. With plenty of patience and gentle coaxing, the shy little kitten slowly learns to trust Rosie. But everything changes when the farm is suddenly sold to developers. Loud trucks and busy builders arrive to start tearing up the land, and the loud noises are absolutely terrifying. The older cats scatter and disappear into the woods, leaving poor little Ginger all by himself. Suddenly, the world feels like a very big and scary place for a tiny kitten. Rosie knows she has to find a way to help her furry friend before it is too late, but catching a frightened kitten is much harder than it looks!
