The year is eighteen sixty five, the Civil War has just ended, and the city is buzzing with a powerful energy. Eli and his family step out of their home to join a massive crowd filling the streets. They march alongside teachers, soldiers, and a sea of neighbors of all backgrounds. Together, they carry bouquets and wreaths, singing songs of freedom as they walk to honor the brave soldiers who lost their lives fighting against slavery.
