Spring break is supposed to be relaxing, but third-grade inventor Ada Lace is already on the case of a brand-new mystery. When her best friend Nina scores a chance to meet her absolute favorite artist, Miroir, the girls are thrilled. Nina even enlists Ada and a coding-whiz friend to completely revamp her online art portfolio for the big introduction. The excitement crashes when the famous artist turns out to be incredibly rude and completely dismisses Nina. Even with her confidence shaken, Nina refuses to miss his big gallery opening. It is a good thing she goes, because Ada notices something very strange hanging on the wall. One of Miroir's paintings looks highly suspicious and incredibly familiar, leading Ada to wonder if the artist is taking credit for work that is not actually his. Now, Ada must use her sharp scientific mind and keen observation skills to uncover the truth.
