Katy Caboose is sick and tired of always being last. Trailing at the very end of a noisy freight train, she constantly chokes on billowing engine smoke and suffers through bumpy, miserable rides across the country. She longs for nothing more than a quiet spot to rest in peace. When a freak accident causes her rusty bolts to snap, Katy goes flying off the tracks and into the unknown. Escaping the endless grind of the railway, she finally discovers a surprising and permanent home perched high up between two evergreen trees.
