Edward has a very unusual best friend. Since it was just a tiny hatchling, he has raised a clever duck that follows him absolutely everywhere. The duck is so smart, it can even waddle in perfect time to the lively marching music of John Philip Sousa! But Edward works at a very fancy hotel in Memphis, and wild animals are strictly forbidden in the grand lobby. When the hotel manager discovers John Philip swimming in the expensive indoor fountain, Edward is sure they are both in terrible trouble. To save his pet, Edward makes a bold promise: he will train an entire flock of ducks to march into the fountain every morning and march out every night. You will cheer for Edward and his marching ducks as they try to pull off the greatest show the hotel has ever seen.
