The Champs are a baseball team looking for a fresh start. After finishing in last place the previous year, they are ready to turn their luck around on opening day. Suddenly, a wombat from Australia wanders onto the field. The team happily welcomes the new player, hoping he will be a powerful hitter. However, the wombat has never seen a baseball game before and takes all the sports language literally. When the coach tells him to steal third base, he causes hilarious chaos that just might accidentally win them the game.
