Taking the bus all by yourself for the very first time is a huge step, but you have to remember to pay attention to your stop! Arthur and his best friend Buster are incredibly excited to ride the bus downtown together for their swimming lesson. They are feeling very grown up, but they get so caught up in talking, reading comic books, and taking naps that they completely miss their stop. When they finally look out the window, they realize they have traveled all the way to the unfamiliar side of town. Feeling a little lost, they make another silly mistake and spend all their bus money on chocolate treats and strawberry soda. Now they are stranded with no way to ride back.
