Jack trades the family cow for magic beans and soon finds himself staring at a massive beanstalk. But instead of wealth and treasure, the beanstalk produces an endless supply of beans. The whole village is forced to eat bean porridge, bean salad, and bean chowder until everyone is entirely sick of them. Ready to chop down the oversized plant, Jack climbs to the top and meets a grumpy giant who is just as tired of eating beans as the rest of the village. Realizing they share the same problem, Jack and the giant team up to completely rethink their harvest. They decide to plant a massive garden filled with corn, tomatoes, and most importantly, russet potatoes.
