The holiday season is supposed to be filled with joy and cheer, but Junie B. Jones is feeling more like a grumpy Grinch. It is finally holiday time in Room One, and the first graders are celebrating with all sorts of festive activities. They are making adorable elf costumes, singing joyful winter songs, and getting ready for the highly anticipated Secret Santa gift exchange. Junie B. cannot wait to pick out a special present for one of her classmates. But her holiday spirit completely fizzles out when she draws the name of her absolute worst enemy: Tattletale May! May is always ruining Junie B.'s fun, and now Junie B. is stuck buying her a present.
