A terrifying war sweeps across the land, forcing a desperate mother to send her beloved daughter into the deep, unknown forest to save her life. The little girl, Mili, walks alone into the dark woods, frightened and unsure of where to find shelter. She eventually discovers a small, hidden hut belonging to Saint Joseph, who takes her in and provides a safe, quiet haven far from the violence of the world. For three days, Mili lives peacefully in the forest, surrounded by friendly wild animals and protected from the dangers of the ongoing war. She even befriends a mysterious guardian angel who watches over her. When the time comes for her to finally return to her mother, Saint Joseph gives her a special rosebud, promising that when the flower blooms, she will be safe forever.
