The young maiden Parsley has a very unusual diet. She refuses to eat anything except fresh parsley, which only grows in the lush garden of a fairy named Bombina. Everything is peaceful in their village until Bombina is released from the fairy queen's dungeon. Bombina has a terrible habit of failing to get along with humans, and she quickly turns Parsley into a chartreuse, warty Biddlebum Toad. Meanwhile, at the nearby castle, twin princes Randolph and Rudolph are causing endless chaos and blaming it all on their younger brother, Prince Tansy. Tansy is the only prince who actually cares about the kingdom of Biddle, but he needs help if he is ever going to become king. When the kindhearted prince meets a friendly green toad with a very nice smile, their fates become permanently tangled. Parsley and Tansy must work together to outsmart the wicked twins, break a fairy curse, and prove that anything is possible.
