Performing in a school play is nerve-wracking enough without adding a live animal to the stage. Soup and Rob are practically bursting with excitement to perform in their classroom Thanksgiving pageant. They have spent weeks memorizing their lines and trying on their fantastic costumes. Everything seems perfect until an unseasonably cold draft forces the boys and the other pilgrims to huddle around a glowing, hot stove. To make matters worse, they are sharing the stage with a very large, incredibly frisky fifty-pound turkey and several massive bags of popping corn. When the heat gets too high, the entire production literally explodes into a popping, chaotic mess. You will find yourself giggling as the boys scramble to get the giant bird under control and save their holiday performance. This delightful story is packed with festive humor and classic schoolhouse silliness.
