Harry is a happy little white dog with black spots who loves doing just about everything except taking a bath. When he hears the bathwater running, he grabs his scrubbing brush, buries it in the backyard, and runs away from home. He spends the whole day having a wonderful time getting as messy as possible. He plays where they are fixing the street, slides down a coal chute, and gets covered in soot at the railroad station. By the time he is finished, he is completely transformed into a black dog with white spots. When Harry finally goes back home, his own family does not even recognize him. Follow Harry on his wonderfully messy adventure as he tries his hardest to prove to his family that he is still their favorite dog.
