Kat and her brother Daniel think they are the luckiest kids in the world. Their family just moved into a massive new house that has tons of empty rooms, a huge backyard, and plenty of space to explore. Everything seems absolutely perfect. But all of that good luck is about to vanish. While exploring the new kitchen, Kat makes a strange discovery beneath the sink. At first glance, it just looks like a dirty, dried-up old sponge. But when it gets wet, it starts to move on its own. This strange, evil creature breathes and pulses, and it is bringing a massive wave of horrible bad luck to anyone who touches it. Now, Kat and Daniel are trapped in their own home with a monster that feeds on their misfortune, and this sponge definitely does not want to do the dishes!
