Hendrika is a plump, well-behaved Dutch cow who does nothing but eat grass in the summer and hay in the winter. But deep down, she is terribly bored with life on the farm and dreams of seeing the wondrous, bustling city she has heard so much about. Her wish comes true in the most unexpected and splashy way when she takes a clumsy tumble directly into a nearby canal. Swept away on a makeshift raft, Hendrika floats right into the heart of the city, causing a hilarious uproar among the townspeople.
