Long ago, the world was filled with elephants of only two colors. There were the black elephants and the white elephants. While they loved all the other animals in the forest, they harbored a deep, unexplained hatred for one another. This bitter division eventually erupted into a terrible conflict. The peace-loving members of both sides fled deep into the darkest jungle to hide, leaving the warmongers to fight until there were no elephants left to be seen anywhere. For many years, the world thought the magnificent creatures were gone forever.
