Moving to a new house is an exciting adventure, but Caroline is feeling a little confused. She now lives on a road called Meadowview Street, but there is absolutely no meadow and definitely no view! Her new front yard is nothing but a flat, boring square of plain green grass. But when she spots a single, bright wildflower growing in the lawn, Caroline gets a brilliant idea. She asks her parents not to mow over the little blossom, and soon, she begins to create a safe haven for nature right in the suburbs. As the grass grows taller and more flowers bloom, the yard begins to attract beautiful butterflies, buzzing bugs, and singing birds. With a little bit of patience and a lot of care, Caroline proves that anyone can invite nature back into their neighborhood and make their street live up to its wonderful name!
