The year is 999, and panic is spreading through the Dragon Slayers' Academy. According to a terrifying ancient prophecy, the end of the world is rapidly approaching. Wiglaf and his friends are understandably nervous about what will happen when the clock strikes midnight on the final day of the year.
Just when things seem completely hopeless, Wiglaf meets a very strange boy named Zack. Zack is dressed in bizarre clothes and makes an absolutely unbelievable claim. He says he is actually from the future and is living proof that the world does not end in the year 1000!
Wiglaf must decide if he can trust this mysterious time traveler. Together, they have to navigate the medieval superstitions of their classmates and figure out how to stop the widespread panic before the new millennium begins.
