Wyatt Hill is known as the quiet giant of Mrs. Z's spectacular third grade classroom. He is already as tall as a fifth grader, practically towering over his own teacher. Because of his impressive size, everyone constantly expects Wyatt to be a tough guy who loves playing aggressive sports, but that simply is not who he is on the inside. Instead of dominating the playground, Wyatt prefers to keep to himself and quietly observe the world. He has a loud stepbrother who always has an opinion on everything, making it even harder for Wyatt to get a word in edge wise. His closest confidant is actually a beloved stuffed lizard, who somehow seems to know every single thing Wyatt wishes he could say out loud. As the school year brings new challenges and surprising friendships, Wyatt slowly begins to realize that he does not need to be loud or tough to be heard. He just needs to find his own unique voice.
