It is a very special day on the farm because Little Duck is officially turning one year old. The entire barnyard is thrilled, and every animal wants to look their absolute best for the big party. Since Little Duck has never celebrated a birthday before, she decides the best way to get ready is to copy her friends. When the sheep neatly trim their wool, Little Duck tries to trim her own feathers. When the pigs enjoy a refreshing mud bath, she jumps right in to squish and squash in the dirt too. After all her snipping, slurping, and shaking, party time finally arrives. But when it is time to take a picture, Little Duck realizes she is a gigantic, messy disaster.
