Weird things are suddenly happening in Stick Dog's snow covered neighborhood. Strangely shaped, shiny pinecones are hanging from the branches of trees, the local humans are walking around singing merry songs, and there are rumors of an odd man making a list and checking it twice. Mutt, Karen, Stripes, and Poo-Poo are completely confused and have tons of questions about what is going on. For the very first time, the usually brilliant Stick Dog has absolutely no answers for his friends. Luckily, their smart friend Lucy knows exactly what is happening. When she explains the wonderful magic of Santa Claus, the hilarious strays decide they need to celebrate the holiday, too. With Christmas Eve arriving tomorrow, the clock is ticking. The gang embarks on a joyful, fast paced quest to prepare for the big night, but setting up for Christmas in the woods is a lot harder than it looks. Will these holiday hounds complete their festive mission in time, and more importantly, will Santa Claus actually be able to find them?
