Mousetta is a deeply shy field mouse who feels completely overwhelmed by the world. While the other young mice play outside, she prefers to stay hidden and quiet. The only way she feels brave enough to leave her home is by wearing a large bucket firmly over her head to hide her face. Her strange outfit keeps her safe from talking to strangers, but when a group of hungry foxes attacks the meadow, the panicked mice desperately need a hero. Mousetta must decide if she has the courage to take the bucket off.
