Dennis O'Malley is an absolute master on his skateboard, effortlessly pulling off tricks on the pavement. But when winter rolls around and his friends hit the snowy slopes, Dennis stays behind. A terrible skiing accident in the past has left him terrified of winter sports. Everything changes when his friend Tasha gets a brand-new snowboard. Watching her ride makes Dennis wonder if his skateboarding skills could translate to the snow. Cautiously, he decides to give snowboarding a try. Just as he starts finding his balance and building his confidence, a group of rival snowboarders begins to relentlessly tease him. The bullying escalates until Dennis is shamed into accepting a dangerous challenge: a race down a notoriously difficult and steep slope.
