There is a terrifying, sharp-toothed monster lurking in the backyard, but getting anyone to care is completely impossible. A young boy tries desperately to warn his mother and father about the beast waiting outside, but his parents are simply too distracted by their daily chores to listen. Met with a constant chorus of dismissals, the boy ventures out to confront the creature himself, resulting in him being entirely swallowed whole! Taking the boy's place, the monster moves right into the house. He eats the family dinner, destroys the toys, and stomps around the living room.
