Everyone in the small town of Goshen Falls knows to stay far away from Vanessa. She always dresses in dark clothing, wears dark makeup, and never speaks to anyone. The local kids spread rumors that she possesses dark magic and can cast terrible spells. Crystal and her brother Cole do not really believe the rumors, but they accidentally make Vanessa very angry. As they walk away, they hear her whisper a strange, quiet warning under her breath. At first, nothing happens. But soon, the siblings realize they are facing a terrifying curse.
