Zackie Beauchamp dreams of becoming a famous horror writer. He is currently working on his masterpiece: a terrifying story about a giant, pink, slimy blob monster that slithers through the streets and eats an entire town. It is the perfect scary story. One day, Zackie explores a burned-down antique store and discovers an old, beat-up typewriter. It looks like the perfect tool for a serious author, so he takes it home and begins typing his monster story on the dusty keys. But there is something deeply wrong with this typewriter. It holds a dark, dangerous magic. As Zackie types, he realizes that his terrifying imagination is leaking out into the real world. Every single scary word he types on the page is actually starting to come true, and the hungry blob is heading straight for his neighborhood!
