A Serious Job Ten-year-old Jake Drake already has a full-time job. He treats going to school exactly like going to work, and he considers his teachers to be his bosses. Up until fourth grade, Jake has been pretty lucky in the boss department, always getting nice teachers who make the days go smoothly. The Grumpy Boss But Jake's luck is about to run out. His class just got a brand new student teacher named Miss Bruce, and she is the grumpiest person he has ever met. She never smiles, she never laughs, and she makes the classroom feel completely miserable. A Funny Solution Jake decides there is only one way to fix this problem: he needs to become the class clown.
