Evan is spending a few weeks with his strange, eccentric Great-Aunt Kathryn, and he is desperate for something fun to do. During a trip to an eerie old toy store, he buys a dusty can of green slime called Monster Blood. It seems like the perfect distraction, and even his dog, Trigger, thinks it tastes great. But the slimy green stuff is not just a normal toy. Evan notices that it is starting to expand, growing bigger and bigger every single day.
