Seven-year-old Bean is incredibly frustrated. Her older sister Nancy gets to go away to Girl Power 4-Ever Camp, and Bean is simply too young to attend. It is completely unfair! She wants to make lanyards, sing songs, and have amazing adventures just like the older kids. Since she cannot go to real camp, Bean and her best friend Ivy decide there is only one thing to do: they will just have to create their very own summer camp right at home!
