Wendy is not exactly the sporty type. While her brother Elliot loves to run, jump, and compete, Wendy would much rather relax. So when they find themselves staying at the incredibly intense Camp Jellyjam, she feels completely out of place. At this summer sports camp, the counselors are way too enthusiastic. The campers are fiercely obsessed with winning every single game, from ping-pong to softball. They wear their shiny winners' medals like they are the most important things in the world. Anyone who does not win simply disappears. Wendy knows there is something deeply wrong hiding beneath the camp's cheerful, sunny surface. As the games become more dangerous and the pressure mounts, she begins to uncover the terrifying truth. The campers are not just competing for fun.
