Trouble is brewing in the usually quiet town of Scrubbley! The grumpy town council, led by the sneaky Councilman Roger Trustable, has decided to tear down the beloved old library clock to replace it with a fancy, modern eyesore. While young Lucy is not particularly interested in a boring old timepiece, her mother is absolutely determined to stop the demolition and save a piece of the town's history. Luckily, they have some highly unusual help on their side. Lucy's mother uses her special clay to create Gauge, a magical timing dragon with a very specific set of skills. Together with the unexpected assistance of a resident ghost named Sir Rufus Trenchchomb, Lucy and Gauge must embark on a hilarious and magical mission to outsmart the council. They will need to use every trick, spell, and clever plan they can think of to stop the bulldozers in their tracks. It is a thrilling race against the clock, and Lucy must prove she has the courage to save the day before time runs out completely.
