Moderation Policy
How KRKB keeps reader-created work safer, more private, and more useful for teachers, librarians, families, and readers.
Updated May 28, 2026
Privacy
Reader-created work should not include real full names, addresses, school names, phone numbers, emails, or private contact details.
Kindness
KRKB does not allow bullying, hate speech, harassment, or attacks on another reader.
Age-appropriate content
Profanity, mature themes, unsafe links, and inappropriate content can be flagged or rejected.
Quality and coaching
Very short, spammy, unclear, or off-topic submissions may be sent back for revision or held for teacher, librarian, or KRKB admin review.
Content covered by moderation tools
Adult review and program context
KRKB moderation is safety support, not a replacement for classroom or library judgment. Teachers and librarians should still review student work in context, especially when work is used for assignments, challenges, reports, or public program displays.
